Cheers! for Brenner Children’s returns Nov. 13 to support children’s healthcare across the Triad

On Friday, Nov. 13, at Legacy Stables and Events in Winston-Salem, the community will come together for the 22nd Annual Cheers! for Brenner Children’s Hospital, an evening dedicated to advancing exceptional pediatric care for children and families throughout the region.

For 22 years, Cheers! has united donors, sponsors and advocates who believe every child deserves access to the highest-quality healthcare close to home. Since its founding in 2005, the event has raised more than $4 million to support the lifesaving work of Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital. 

As the Triad’s only children’s hospital, pediatric emergency department, Level I pediatric trauma center and Level I children's surgery center, Brenner Children’s provides specialized care for children across Northwest North Carolina and beyond. Philanthropic support helps fund priorities beyond traditional healthcare reimbursement, including patient and family assistance programs, advanced medical equipment, research and innovation, and the recruitment and retention of top pediatric healthcare professionals.

This year, supporters have an opportunity to make an even greater impact. Thanks to a generous commitment from presenting sponsor Simply Southern, funds raised through Cheers! will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000.
