Because of wet grounds from the rainfall over the last several days, Winston-Salem’s scheduled doubleheader against Myrtle Beach on Sunday at BB&T Ballpark has been canceled.

The final three games of the series against Myrtle Beach will not be made up.

All tickets for Sunday’s doubleheader are redeemable for any remaining regular season home game in 2019, excluding July 4th.

The Dash will continue their homestand Monday night against the Salem Red Sox. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. and gates will open at 6:15 p.m.

Right-hander Jorgan Cavanerio (1-0, 3.74 ERA) will take the mound for the Dash against left-hander Jhonathan Diaz (2-5, 7.36 ERA) for the Red Sox.

Monday’s game will be a Free Food Monday, with free hot dogs and french fries available until 8:30 p.m. The series will continue with a Taco Tuesday and a Winston Wednesday.
