Lock Haven swept Winston-Salem State in a doubleheader at BB&T Ballpark on Sunday winning 8-3 and 7-5. Both games were seven innings.

The Rams (16-9) led 5-3 after four innings in the second game but Lock Haven scored a run in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth to take the lead for good.

E.P. Reese, Cole Parks and Hunter Phillips each had two hits for the Rams.

In the first game, the Rams fell behind 7-0 after Lock Haven scored one in the first inning and six more in the third inning. Avery Cain, who lasted just two innings, was the losing pitcher for the Rams as he fell to 2-2.

The Rams fell behind 8-0 before scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth. Kendall Tucker went 2 for 2 with two RBI’s for the Rams.

The Rams will play Queens on Wednesday at BB&T Ballpark at 6 p.m.
