Visiting Concord scored four runs in the sixth on its way to a 7-4 over Winston-Salem State on Tuesday night at in Mocksville.

The Rams (19-11) had their four-game win streak snapped.

E.P. Reese and Nick Williams each had home runs for the Rams and Cole Parks went 3 for 4. Reese also went 3 for 4 including a single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.

Jalen Scott went six innings and allowed six earned runs as he took the loss. Scott fell to 4-3 this season.

The Rams will play Virginia State in a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. at Asheboro’s McCrary Park. On Sunday the Rams will play at Virginia State in another doubleheader that will begin at 2 p.m.
