November 26, 1976 - June 8, 2019 Jeffrey David Spainhour, 42, of Tobaccoville, NC, died unexpectedly at home Friday, June 8, 2019 after a long illness. Jeff was the son of Steve and Marjorie Spainhour of Tobaccoville. He was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The family moved to Tobaccoville when Jeff was 7 months old. Jeff graduated from North Forsyth High School in 1995 and attended FTCC. He was employed over the years with Lowe's HI Warehouse, Lantal Industries, Wachovia Bank, and Harris Teeter Perishable Foods Distribution Warehouse (leadman, a job he loved). He was a dedicated and hardworking employee until his poor health took over. Jeff's greatest pleasure was baseball, baseball cards, and player statistics. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his older brother, Aaron (1988), paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and several aunts. He is survived by his parents, his beloved children, Emily (Cory) Craddock and Jeremy Spainhour, his grandmother, Eleanor Field, aunt, Martha Mandeville and uncle, Daniel Field, (both of Massachusetts) and half-brother, Preston (Cheryl) Spainhour. Also surviving, his uncles PW and Jerry Spainhour and many cousins. At Jeffrey's request, no services are planned. Jeffrey was a wonderful son and never complained about his poor health or anything else. He loved life and especially loved his children, Emily and Jeremy. His positive attitude could be frustrating at times, but he always looked on the bright side. We will miss him beyond words can say. We love you, Jeffrey. Slate Funeral Home 132 E. Dalton Rd. P.O.
