Lee, Jr. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School and received his B.S. in Accounting from Guilford College. Bob's early career involved a partnership with his father with Lee Ltd. He later worked with Morgan Stanley in Winston-Salem and Raleigh, NC and served on the YMCA Board of Directors. He was preceded in death by his father. Bob was an extremely intelligent and likeable guy, but his legacy goes way beyond that. He made our lives better. He was kind, understanding, and went out of his way to help people in so many ways. His approach to all aspects of life, both good and bad, was one that championed mindfulness and understanding. His unique ability to radiate happiness and optimism to those around him continued to be evident until the very end, remarkably, even while he faced the daunting physical challenges of ALS. He spent his final days surrounded by loving friends and family at Duke Hospice. There is a void in the hearts of those who loved him that can never be filled.
