The owner of a pig that was turned in to the Davidson County Animal Shelter has three days to claim it until the pig goes up for adoption.
The animal shelter said the pig was brought in around 10 a.m Thursday morning.
It was found walking along the road on Rodelia Street in Thomasville.
The pig was rounded up because of a Thomasville city ordinance that says there can be no pigs in city limits.
The shelter said this is the second pig that's been turned in this week.
