SPINNING WHEELS: The Winston-Salem Cycling Classic will return for three days of racing, most of which will be centered in downtown. The classic will begin on May 25 with a full day of criteriums around Bailey Park in the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, culminating with races at 5 and 6 p.m., featuring professionals from around the world. May 26 will feature “gran fondos” or long rides through the countryside around Lewisville. There will be a festival at Shallowford Square with a kids’ rodeo, food trucks and vendors.
