HONKY-TONK QUEENS: Summer Dean and Bonnie Montgomery, two neo-traditional country singers from Texas, will play The Ramkat, 170 W. Ninth St., on June 28. The women will share bands, which will feature former Winston-Salem residents Karrie Sheehan on drums and William vonReichbauer on bass. The two played together for a spell in the bo-stevens. Montgomery has opened for Chris Stapleton and Dale Watson among others, while Dean is making a name for herself in the Ameripolitan genre, which is a blend of the Bakersfield sound and 1970s Outlaw Country. Tickets start at $12.50. See The Ramkat’s Facebook page for more information.
