CATCH A RISING STAR: Up-and-comer Dee White will stop at Muddy Creek Music Hall, 5455 Bethania Road, on April 24 as part of a 13-city tour to promote his debut album, “Southern Gentleman.” The album is on Easy Eye Sound, the label of Dan Aurebach, the guitarist and vocalist for The Black Keys. Aurebach appears on the album, as do Alison Krauss and Ashley McBryde. White hails from that class of young country musicians who prefer an old-school sound. NPR’s First Listen program called White’s debut a “real head-turner” that recalls Don Gibson and Roy Orbison. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
