DONATE OR VOLUNTEER TODAY ! Thank you for a Very Merry Christmas in July! Forsyth County, thanks to your generosity, Senior Services’ annual Christmas in July campaign was a great success! Your kind donations of comfort and care items will make life a little easier for older adults across our community. Piedmont Federal Savings Bank once again played a huge role in bringing this vitally important annual giving opportunity to our community. Could You Volunteer? The Williams Adult Day Center needs weekday volunteers for the following: • A handyperson to help with small repairs • Someone to assist participants with dining, walking, doing crafts, and dancing • A volunteer with a green thumb to help maintain the outdoor garden The Connections program is looking for volunteers to visit one-on-one with seniors in the eastern area of Winston-Salem. There are 16 seniors waiting for a new friend. Visiting times are ﬂexible and can include evenings or weekends. Meals-on-Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to seniors who are homebound.
