I Support Senior Services!
Senior Services has been helping older adults
in Forsyth County remain at home, where they
want to be, since 1962. We are able to do this
thanks to the support of a kind and generous
community. Find out why your neighbors
support Senior Services and how you can, too,

Thank you for a Very
Merry Christmas in July!
Forsyth County, thanks to your
generosity, Senior Services’ annual
Christmas in July campaign was a
great success! Your kind donations of
comfort and care items will make life a
little easier for older adults across our
community. Piedmont Federal Savings
Bank once again played a huge role in
bringing this vitally important annual
giving opportunity to our community.

Could You Volunteer?
The Williams Adult Day Center needs weekday volunteers for the following:
• A handyperson to help with small repairs
• Someone to assist participants with dining, walking, doing crafts, and dancing
• A volunteer with a green thumb to help maintain the outdoor garden
The Connections program is looking for volunteers to visit one-on-one with
seniors in the eastern area of Winston-Salem. There are 16 seniors waiting for a
new friend. Visiting times are flexible and can include evenings or weekends.
Meals-on-Wheels needs volunteers to deliver meals to seniors who are
homebound.
Contact Holly Beck for more information or call 336-721-3411.

Too many local seniors are alone, hungry and struggling to meet basic needs. Your gift will change their lives.
