John W. Randall has been promoted from senior vice president to national production manager of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, a subsidiary of BB&T. He manages Grandbridge’s 21 production offices and is on the advisory boards for several of Grandbridge’s correspondent life insurance company lenders. Randall has a bachelor’s degree in economics from American University and has a Florida real estate license.
Vicky L. Free has been named the senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Novant Health. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and brand management. Free will lead the strategic direction of all Novant Health system marketing activities. Free has a bachelor of arts in mass communications from the University of South Carolina, and a master of business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She completed the executive leadership development program at the University of California at Oakland and the executive management program at Harvard Business School in Boston.
Bart Willey has been named senior vice president/commercial relationship manager at United Community Bank. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and is responsible for bringing United’s commercial lending capabilities to the Piedmont Triad. Willey is a graduate of the University of North Alabama.
Jeffrey W. Montgomery has been named chief banking officer at Triad Business Bank, which is being formed. He will lead the commercial banking team in its productivity and strategy. Montgomery is a native of Greensboro and has more than 15 years of banking experience. Most recently he served as region manager and market president of the Triad for First National Bank of PA.
David L. Maynard, wealth manager at Maynard & Associates Wealth Management, has been selected to serve on Highland Capital Brokerage’s HighCap Advisory Board. Highland Capital partners with financial advisers using its core competencies of life insurance, annuities and long-term care to help advisers provide their clients with innovative protection and income solutions. Maynard will serve a three-year term offering counsel to Highland Capital Managing Directors and the HighCap leadership team.
