Wake Forest patched a hole in its backcourt this week when Coron Williams, a graduate student from Robert Morris, committed to play his final season of college basketball with the Deacons.

The loss of senior C.J. Harris to spent eligibility and the decision by sophomore Chase Fischer to transfer left the Deacons with only three guards, freshmen Codi Miller-McIntyre and Madison Jones and incoming freshman Miles Overton. The addition of Williams gives Wake Forest two much-needed assets, experience in the backcourt and another reliable long-range shooter.
