Wake Forest earned bragging rights in the Skip Prosser Classic on Wednesday night with the first victory under Coach Jeff Bzdelik really worth bragging about.

Keeping their wits about them in the final frantic minutes, the Deacons knocked off Xavier 66-59 in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 9,862 at Joel Coliseum. To do so, they had to withstand a Musketeer rally that erased an 11-point second-half lead, and counter with a winning surge of their own.
