For all the fuss surrounding the Wake Forest men’s basketball program, it appears that Coach Jeff Bzdelik and his staff can still close a deal. At least that was the case with four-star recruit Isaac Haas.

Haas, a 7-2, 280-pound center, decided earlier this month that he wanted to be a Deacon before returning home from his official campus visit. He discussed it with his parents during the flight back to Piedmont, Ala., and was on the phone with Bzdelik a few hours later saying it was done deal. Scheduled official visits to Texas A&M and Virginia were no longer needed.
