The bashful Codi Miller-McIntyre a leader? Believe it. And he can even nail down the moment he officially went from being an immature freshman to a sage sophomore.
Miller-McIntyre, a 6-3 guard at Wake Forest, was benched to start the second half of last week's season-opening win against Colgate. He reentered the game five minutes after halftime and ignited a stale offense. He scored 17 second-half points –– including a run of 14 straight –– to help the Deacons overcome a two-point deficit in an 89-78 win and finished with a career-high 21 points.
