It sounds like another busy week for Appalachian State athletics, with a search to replace Jerry Moore as football coach in high gear and potentially drawing to a close by the end of the week.

A few names have surfaced as top candidates, including interim coach Scott Satterfield, Wake Forest assistant Lonnie Galloway, Arkansas assistant Tim Horton, Virginia Tech assistant and former N.C. State head coach Mike O’Cain and former UNC assistant John Shoop.
