The Winston-Salem Youth Chorus will commemorate its 20th anniversary on Saturday with a concert at the Stevens Center featuring about 100 members performing a new work as well as favorites from concerts performed during the past 20 years.

The new work is “The Playful Rainbow,” a Cycle of Four Pieces that will be making its world premiere at the concert. It was composed by Dan Locklair, with text by Fred Chappell. The concert is led by Barbara Beattie, the founder and the artistic director of the chorus.
