Editorial: Bioscience education: Forsyth Tech takes another step into the future

Classroom learning will be fortified by practical application, thanks to a new grant to improve the quality of bioscience education received by Forsyth Tech. This is the perfect complement to Winston-Salem and our growing biotech industry.

The $490,568 grant from the National Science Foundation will allow Forsyth Technical Community College to administer a three-year program that will bring 12 educators to its campus to study bioscience equipment and practices, and then to follow and learn from figures who work in the industry.
