MARTIN NORTH WILKESBORO Jacqueline Linda Martin July 4, 1943 - March 31, 2014 Ms. Jacqueline Linda Martin, age 70, of North Wilkesboro died Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m., April 3, 2014 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. John A. Speaks, Rev. Richard Carlton and Rev. James Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens the following morning. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Ms. Martin was born July 4, 1943 in Wilkes County to Ralph William and Louella Barber Martin. She graduated from Lincoln Heights School, Winston-Salem State University and the University of Virginia. She was a 7th grade teacher in The Danville School System in Virginia. She is survived by: three brothers, Nelson Martin and wife, Cathy; Reggie Martin and wife, Jametta all of North Wilkesboro; Douglas Martin and wife, Pam of Hickory and several nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to United Hospice of Wilkes, 902 West D Street, Suite 2, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
