MANGUM CHAPEL HILL William Goodson Mangum December 30, 2013 Artist and professor William Goodson Mangum of Chapel Hill passed away peacefully on December 30, 2013. Surviving relatives include his wife, Ariana Mangum, of Chapel Hill, five children - Margaret Ariana Mangum, William Preston Mangum, Alice Mangum Perry, Laura Mangum Wissa, and Grace Elizabeth Mangum - and granddaughter Celia. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, at 3:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Chapel Hill.
