GREENSBORO — This week “Moral Monday” celebrated 60 weeks of marches, sit-ins, teach-ins, pray-ins and general protests at the state capitol.

The movement, which opposes much of the agenda of the Republican majority now in power in Raleigh, has garnered national headlines. It has put a spotlight on issues from public education and the environment to same-sex marriage.
