Commissioners approve $14 million in bond sales for maintenance projects

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners authorized almost $14 million in bond sales for various maintenance projects that will mostly impact the public schools, during action at the board’s meeting Monday night.

By unanimous vote, commissioners authorized $6.6 million in school bonds, $2.3 million in community college bonds, $2 million in parks and recreation bonds, $1.3 million in court facilities bonds and $1.5 million in bonds for other public facilities.
