Thomasville man faces moonshining charges

At the home of Preston Wayne Porter, 350 Hogan Bowers Road Thomasville, detectives siezed approximately four ounces of marijuana, 12.4 grams of methamphetamine, 02 grams of mdma , 113 dosages of steroids, 57.5 dosages of Lorazapam, 02 dosages of Opana, approximately eighty-eight quarts of non -tax paid alcohol (moonshine), one moonshine still, 16 long guns, 07 handguns and $1,744 in US currency.

Deputies seized moonshine, drugs, guns and cash during a raid of a Thomasville man’s alleged moonshine operation, authorities said Friday.

Davidson County sheriff’s deputies raided the 350 Hogan Bowers Road home of Preston Wayne Porter, 38, after a five-month investigation.
