The following comments were sent from Cindi Griffith, widow of North Carolina icon Andy Griffith, to the Surry Arts Council for the family of her husband’s late friend Emmett Forrest. The comments, flowers and painting she recently sent Forrest have been placed in the lobby of the Andy Griffith Museum in Mount Airy for friends and family to view:
