Wake Forest football player pleads guilty to drug charges

A Wake Forest football player pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drug charges in Forsyth District Court Friday morning.

Duran Lowe and Devin Bolling were both suspended last year for a violation of athletics department policy after the two were arrested by the Winston-Salem Police Department in October. Lowe was initially charged with felony possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana and misdemeanor maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
