❑ The Mount Airy Lion's Club recently donated $10,000 to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home "Close to Home Campaign" for the naming of the vending area in the building. The Mount Airy Lion's club treasurer, Bill Joe Woodruff, presented Sheila Jones, the marketing director of the hospice, with the check.
