Local university leaders bemoan high costs of attending college

The leaders of three local colleges bemoaned the high costs students pay to attend their schools, but said that liberal-arts educations will continue to be valuable.

“Affordability will affect the future of higher education,” Chancellor Donald Reaves of Winston-Salem State University said during a forum Monday night. “We have priced many people out of the market of higher education.”
