Forsyth’s homeless count lowest on record

Forsyth County’s efforts to reduce homelessness are paying off.

Winston-Salem Mayor Allen Joines announced Tuesday that the county’s population of chronically homeless people has decreased 58 percent since 2005, according to the 2013 “Point in Time” count.
