CLEMMONS – A single-car crash injured the driver and knocked out power to a Clemmons neighborhood late Monday morning.

The driver, whose name was not immediately released, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after her 2000 Honda Accord crashed into a utility pole about 400 feet off the roadway on Marty Lane near Lake Cottage Road at about 11:30 a.m., Trooper Jeremy Anderson reported. She was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center by Forsyth County EMS.
