Economic commission wants to use capital campaign to recruit, retain business

Most observers would agree that when it comes to economic development, Davie County is on a hot streak.

To keep the momentum rolling, the county’s Economic Development Commission announced last week that it wants to raise $1 million in a capital campaign that will enable it to recruit and retain industries and educate the future workforce over the course of a five-year initiative.
