TOBACCOVILLE -- Reynolds American Inc. aligned its future more closely with electronic cigarettes Friday with the announcement of a turnkey production operation requiring at least 200 new full-time jobs at the company’s mammoth plant in Tobaccoville.
A subsidiary, R.J. Reynolds Vapor Co., will take a 70,000-square-foot production space in the 1 million-square-foot facility to produce its e-cig brand, Vuse. The production ramp-up could take up to four years.
