The top executive at Reynolds American Inc., Daniel Delen, received a 9.8 percent salary increase in 2013 to just under $1.1 million after another solid fiscal financial performance.

The company reported in a regulatory filing that Delen’s total compensation was up 20.8 percent to $10.4 million, largely because of a 110.7 percent jump in his non-equity incentive plan compensation to $2.53 million. Delen did not receive a salary increase in fiscal 2012.
