La-Z-Boy cutting 100 jobs in North Carolina

Two North Wilkesboro warehouse facilities will be closed by the end of the year as part of a major restructuring announced Thursday by La-Z-Boy Inc.

The company, based in Monroe, Mich., also is closing its wooden furniture plant in Caldwell County as part of exiting domestic production of those products, and selling off its youth furniture business of Lea Industries.
