First Tennessee buying branches from BofA

First Tennessee Bank said Wednesday it is acquiring 13 branches and four free-standing ATM machines in Tennessee from Bank of America Corp.

The banks did not disclose how much First Tennessee is paying for the branches in east and middle Tennessee. It expects to gain regulatory approval this year. The bank said it would hire all current Bank of America employees affected by the deal.
