Piedmont Advantage Credit Union said Monday it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 9 a.m. Thursday for its new headquarters site in a 22-acre business park to be named Piedmont Advantage Park.

The credit union plans to move in 2014 from Liberty Street to 3530 Advantage Way, at the corner of Stratford and Burke Mill roads. It spent $1.5 million on the three-acre site, according to Forsyth County Register of Deeds data. It plans to build a three-story building.
