Tengion enrolls patients in Phase 1 trials

Tengion Inc. said Wednesday it has enrolled seven patients in its neo-urinary conduit Phase 1 trial and expects to meet its goal of 10 patients by March 31.

The Winston-Salem regenerative-medicine company said it is adding more surgical centers with newly trained investigators to increase the odds of meeting the enrollment goal.
