New Breed sold to Connecticut logistics company for $615 million

One of the Triad’s top logistics companies, New Breed Holding Co., is being sold to a Connecticut company for $615 million in cash.

XPO Logistics Inc. of Greenwich said Tuesday it will pay for the deal without taking on debt. The deal, projected to close in the third quarter, faces regulatory and shareholder approval.
